Ben Mudrick is a partner in the firm’s Labor & Employment practice group and has experience in employment hiring, discipline and termination, employment discrimination litigation, EEOC and New York State Division of Human Rights Investigations, Fair Labor Standards Act wage and hour litigation, leave issues, including compliance with the FMLA, ADA, USERRA, and Workers' Compensation Law, Civil Service Law, Labor relations, and Education law.
Diana practices in all areas of federal and state tax law. Her experience includes: analyzing, structuring and drafting documents for mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, tax-free spin-offs and debt restructurings; counseling clients on choice of entity with a focus on limited liability companies and S corporations, and implementing the chosen structure; analyzing and drafting operating agreements for LLCs; analyzing employment tax issues and assisting clients in the correction of such issues; assisting alcoholic beverage producers with federal excise tax requirements and state excise, sales and use tax requirements; and analyzing various state tax issues involving sales taxes, real estate transfer taxes, municipal tax liens, and state income taxes.
