Spreading the word about cyber risk

Each October the Department of Homeland Security celebrates National Cyber Security Awareness Month, a national public awareness campaign that encourages businesses and individuals to take steps to protect themselves from cyber threats.

This collaborative effort between government and industry was created to ensure that businesses and individuals have the resources they need to stay safe and more secure in our interconnected world.

We are helping to spread the word about cyber risk, and ways to minimize the legal risk that can follow a data breach. Throughout the fall season, F. Paul Greene, Partner and Chair of the Privacy & Data Security Practice Group at Harter Secrest & Emery, as well as other members of the HSE team, will be joining industry experts to discuss vital topics at these timely and informative events.
