Guidance for Employers on Responding to the Coronavirus

The World Health Organization declared the coronavirus outbreak a “public health emergency of international concern.”

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), coronavirus (known as COVID-19) was first detected in China and has been identified in over 80 countries.  The number of reported cases is approaching 100,000 and over 3,000 people have died from the virus.

We have prepared a LEGALcurrents® that provides non-healthcare employers with some practical guidance on responding to this growing international health concern.  Please contact any member of the firm’s Labor and Employment practice for more information on addressing the impact of the coronavirus in the workplace.
