Annual Rochester Institute of Internal Auditors IT Audit Seminar

Date:
December 7, 2016

HSE Partner and Chair of the Privacy and Data Security practice group, F. Paul Greene, will be a keynote speaker at the Annual Rochester Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) IT Audit Seminar, hosted by the Rochester Chapter of the IIA. The IIA is an international organization with more than 100,000 members in internal auditing, risk management, governance, internal control, IT audit, education, and security. The Institute is the recognized authority, principal educator, and acknowledged leader in certification, research, and guidance for the profession worldwide.

Paul will cover the increasing complexity of cybersecurity regulation, provide a snapshot of the current regulatory frameworks that apply, discuss the overlap and conflict between them, and coming trends in relation to cybersecurity regulation. Participants will leave with a broader understanding of the complex regulatory landscape as well as the collateral risk that comes from regulatory frameworks outside an entity’s main area of operation.
