Sexual Harassment Prevention Training - Jul 7, 2020

Webinar satisfying employer requirement to provide sexual harassment training to all employees.

July 7, 2020
11:00 am - 12:00 pm EDT

You may believe that sexual harassment is less likely with many of your employees working remotely recently, but it remains a risk to your business if harassment occurs through email, instant messaging, and virtual meeting platforms.

This informative webinar presented by our Labor and Employment Law team:

  • Provides the perfect opportunity for you to virtually meet New York State and New York City training requirements without risking the health and safety of your employees.
  • Is appropriate for all employees working in New York State, including those employees working for New York City employers with more than 15 employees.

Remember all employees must be trained annually, and new employees are required to receive training "as soon as possible" after hire, which may include those who have been rehired after a recent layoff.

Please join Anna McCarthy for this timely and essential training.

PLEASE NOTE: All employees must receive a copy of their employer’s sexual harassment prevention policy and the training materials at the time of the training. In order for us to satisfy this requirement, the webinar registrant’s employer must send us a copy of the organization’s sexual harassment policy and the employee attendee email address at least two business days PRIOR to the webinar. The harassment policy and email address may be submitted by email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. During the webinar, we will email the policy and the training materials to the organization’s employee and require a reply acknowledgement. This will allow us to comply with the law and certify that attendees have been provided a copy of their organization’s policy and the training materials. It will also enable our presenters to answer questions about each organization’s policy during the training. We are not able to issue a certificate of attendance to attendees for whom we do not receive the policy or an acknowledgment of receipt.
