School’s Back (Mostly): What Employers Need to Know about Paid Leave

Location:
Webinar

Date:
August 25, 2020
10:00 am - 11:00 pm EDT

HSE Labor and Employment partner Rob Weissflach will be co-presenting an upcoming Buffalo Niagara Partnership event, "School’s Back (Mostly): What Employers Need to Know about Paid Leave," taking place on Wednesday, August 26 at 10:00 am.

Webinar overview:
An unusual start to the school year may leave parents – your employees – with new paid leave options. Most WNY school districts will be operating in a hybrid model with students only attending school in person a few days a week. Some are opening with full remote instruction. Your employees might be eligible for paid leave on the days their children are not physically attending school.

What does this mean for your company? What HR considerations do you need to be aware of?

Legally and logistically, you may have several unanswered questions. Join us for a presentation on August 26th and get the information you need to be prepared. Experts will guide you through the future of paid leave, how these school plans can directly affect your workforce and how you can adjust to new policies.

Cost: FREE

Co-presented by: Liz Warren, EVP & Chief People Officer, Employer Services Corporation
