Life in the 21st century has ushered in unparalleled levels of change. Because of the pace of change, many experts now argue that creativity and creative problem solving are crucial for professional success. In fact, the World Economic Forum listed creative thinking among the top five workplace skills this year, and a recent study conducted by LinkedIn identified creativity as the #1 skill in today’s job market. In addition, as leaders must be effective at responding to the kinds of novel problems associated with an increasingly volatile and uncertain world, creativity was identified by global leaders in an IBM study as the most important leadership skill in the 21st century.
Please join us as Dr. Gerard J. Puccio, Ph.D., SUNY Distinguished Professor, and Chair of Buffalo State University’s Creativity and Change Leadership Department introduces us to proven principles and strategies for enhanced creative thinking and problem solving that can be immediately applied at work and at home.
To live is to have problems, and to address problems creatively promotes growth and success, personally and professionally. We hope you can participate and take your creative-thinking skills to the next level.
