With the rise of more contagious COVID-19 variants, government officials are trying different approaches to either incentivize or require more people to obtain a COVID-19 vaccine. Some states or municipalities are requiring vaccines for employees performing certain jobs and President Biden has announced plans to require employees working for large private employers, the federal government, federal contractors, and healthcare entities be vaccinated against COVID-19.

Please join Iskra and Ed for a discussion on the current New York State and federal vaccine mandates and the issues employers are facing. We will provide you with practical advice on navigating the requirements, while staying in compliance with laws and policies related to leaves of absence, discrimination, accommodation, and privacy concerns.

About the Series

In lieu of hosting our annual in-person conference this past spring, Harter Secrest & Emery’s Labor & Employment practice group is pleased to introduce the 2021 Labor and Employment Law Breakfast Briefing Webinar Series. Similar to the conference, this series will feature monthly webinar sessions that provide perspectives on how to drive business strategies while managing compliance obligations and risk.
