Shifting Tides: Legal Trends in Legislation and Litigation Impacting LGBTQ+ People

Harter Secrest & Emery is pleased to host Human Rights Campaign Vice President of Law Sarah Warbelow for a seminar addressing the rise in legislation impacting LGBTQ+ people at the state and federal level along with subsequent litigation efforts challenging the constitutionality of the new laws. Topics of focus include health care, curriculum censorship, and definitions of sex. Prior groundbreaking cases from the Supreme Court of the United States will be explored in conjunction with the new laws as well as cases racing through the federal court system that could be granted certiorari in the coming year.
