On January 1, 2018, employers will suddenly transition from Paid Family Leave (PFL) preparation to PFL administration. With the New Year fast approaching, it’s time to explore how PFL will work in reality, and beyond theory.
Join HSE Labor and Employment attorneys Amy L. Hemenway and Luke P. Wright for a live, 60-minute webinar that will provide practical examples and guidance on:
- Administering requests and interaction with employees about PFL absences;
- How PFL will interact with other laws (e.g., FLMA, DBL) and employer leave programs;
- Required policies, notices, and handbook provisions; and
- Review of example PFL scenarios.
For purposes of New York State Mandatory CLE requirements, this session will be eligible for at least 1.0 credit hour in the Areas of Professional Practice category and is designated as transitional and non-transitional.
