The Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 expands existing energy tax credits and adds a new “direct pay” refundability option for tahttp://lstone@hselaw.com/x-exempt organizations. Beginning this year, tax-exempt organizations are eligible to receive a cash payment of up to 50% of their investment in clean energy projects, including facilities improvements. Please join us on Thursday, March 30th for a discussion on these new rules and how your organization can obtain a cash refund, including:
- qualifying projects and facilities improvements;
- eligibility requirements for the maximum 50% refund;
- credit opportunities for the purchase of clean and electric vehicles;
- transferring the credit to service providers to reduce overall project costs.
