Amy L. Hemenway, partner in our Labor and Employment practice group, was featured in a recent Buffalo Business First/Buffalo Law Journal article titled, “Paid sick leave mandatory statewide in 2021.” In the article, Amy reminds employers that they will need to provide unpaid sick leave (from 40 to 56 hours depending on how many employees they have) annually to employees beginning January 1, 2021.
