Former Nazareth President Joins Law Firm to Guide Higher Ed institutions Through Pandemic, Recession

Conroy, Partner in the firm’s Higher Education practice, were featured in an article by Rochester Business Journal titled, “Former Nazareth president joins law firm to guide higher ed institutions through pandemic, recession.” In the article, Daan provides insights into the challenges the higher education industry is facing, and how he intends to use his 43 years of industry experience to help. According to Daan, “Higher education institutions of all sizes are facing numerous challenges, many of which existed before the coronavirus pandemic and most of which have been exacerbated by it. It’s a good time to step back, think creatively and turn these challenges into opportunities.” In his new role with HSE, Daan plans to consult with institutions on a number of issues facing campuses including mergers and acquisitions, crisis management, human resources, diversity and inclusion, risk assessment and other matters.
