Harter Secrest Adds IP Vet From Woods Oviatt in NY

Law360 Pulse recently reported that Doug R. Smith, an experienced intellectual property attorney with a Ph.D. in chemistry, has joined the firm’s Rochester, New York, office. Smith joined HSE’s IP practice group earlier this month after spending the last 12 years with Woods Oviatt Gilman LLP.

“I have been friends with several of the firm’s attorneys for years, and they have consistently spoken highly of the firm and it’s people,” Smith told Law360 Pulse Friday, “The breadth of the firm’s intellectual property clients is impressive, and I look forward to learning more about the many technologies being developed by these companies and individuals, as well as assisting them in protecting their valuable intellectual property.”
