McCarthy, was interviewed in a recent WIVB-TV news segment regarding OSHA’s newly effective temporary emergency standard, which requires businesses with 100 or more employees to require vaccination or weekly COVID-19 testing for most employees. Anna noted that the requirements may pose an enforcement challenge and one method that OSHA may be relying on to reinforce compliance is the threat of fines.
