Monroe County Announces Loan Program to Support Small Businesses

Monroe County announced an emergency small business support program for businesses with 50 or fewer full-time or full-time equivalent employees.  The program creates an emergency loan fund of $500,000 managed by Monroe County Industrial Development Corporation (“MCIDC”). The maximum loan amount is $10,000 and the loans are zero interest.   MCDIC will review the requests as applications are received and decisions will be made within seven (7) business days of submission.  There is no cost to apply.
