Harter Secrest & Emery LLP, a full-service business law firm with offices throughout New York, is pleased to announced that four associates in the firm’s Rochester office were officially admitted to the New York State Bar today.
Rebecca DeVun Areaux is an associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property practice group. She has experience in trademark search and clearance, as well as in infringement and litigation matters involving Intellectual Property. Areaux brings professional experience from positions at Diageo North America, Inc. and Johnson, Gasink & Baxter, LLP. She is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Notre Dame and received her law degree, cum laude, from William & Mary Law School.
Vittoria L. Buzzelli is an associate in the firm’s Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation practice group. She previously worked as a summer associate at Harter Secrest & Emery, served as a student associate at the Penn State Law Civil Rights Appellate Clinic and the Penn State Law Entrepreneur Assistance Clinic, and interned with the Indiana County (PA) District Attorney. Buzzelli earned her law degree from the Dickinson School of Law at Pennsylvania State University, and is a summa cum laude graduate of the Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Angilee R. DiMartino is an associate in Harter Secrest & Emery’s Litigation practice group, focusing on Specialty and Industry Specific Litigation. She was a summer associate with Harter Secrest & Emery, and in addition to various roles at the University of Richmond School of Law, she interned with the U.S. Department of Justice Constitutional Torts Section and the United States District Court for the Western District of New York. DiMartino is a magna cum laude graduate of the University at Buffalo, and earned her law degree from the University of Richmond School of Law.
Jacob C. Miller has joined Harter Secrest & Emery as an associate in the Corporate and Transactional practice group. In addition to serving as a summer associate at Harter Secrest & Emery, Miller’s experience includes roles within the Office of Compliance Services of the Boston University General Counsel office, the Vermont Supreme Court, and the Ohio Wesleyan Writing Center. He earned his law degree from Northeastern University School of Law, and is a cum laude graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University.
