Paul Greene, has been recognized by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) as a Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP).

The FIP designation is available to those who have earned a Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US) as well as a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) or Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT), all of which are recognized by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) as the gold standard accreditation of credentials for information privacy professionals. Becoming a FIP demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge of privacy laws, privacy program management and essential data protection practices through the successful completion of at least two IAPP credentials and considerable on-the-job experience. Greene joins a select group of approximately 1,300 professionals worldwide who currently hold the FIP designation.

Greene, who is a Certified Information Privacy Professional for Europe (CIPP/E), a Certified Information Privacy Professional for the United States (CIPP/US), as well as a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), is currently the only attorney in private practice in Upstate New York to hold the U.S. and European CIPP and FIP credentials and be recognized as a Ponemon Institute Distinguished Fellow. He has also been recognized by Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers in Business since 2015 for his strong reputation and knowledge, especially in the field of complex commercial litigation and he has been selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® for Privacy and Data Security Law.

Greene represents clients of all sizes in a wide range of industries concerning all aspects of proactive preparation and risk management, including security and vulnerability assessments, policy and procedure review, breach response planning and drills, as well as board and management education on cyber risk and privacy issues.
