Caitlin A. Anderson Appointed to Friends of the Dyken Pond Center Ltd Board of Directors

Rochester, New York, Nov 16, 2023 – Harter Secrest & Emery LLP, a full-service business law firm with offices throughout New York, announced that Caitlin A. Anderson, an associate in the firm’s Government Affairs practice, has been appointed to serve on the Board of Directors of the Friends of the Dyken Pond Center Ltd.

The Friends of the Dyken Pond Center Ltd fosters ecological literacy and land stewardship by promoting experiential environmental education. Located in Grafton, New York, the organization supports the Dyken Pond Environmental Education Center’s programs and protects the natural resources at and around the Center through financial and volunteer support.

In her practice, Anderson provides counsel to clients regarding the nuances of New York State government, including lobbying and liaising with the Governor’s office for clarification on legislation, regulatory actions, and executive orders. She develops short-term and long-term legislative plans, drafts and arranges for the introduction of bills, advocates to secure or modify legislation and administrative action on behalf of clients and represents clients through dealings with state agencies—from negotiating regulations to defending clients in administrative hearings.

Anderson received a J.D. from The William & Mary Law School, summa cum laude, and a B.S., from Elmira College, summa cum laude.
