Harter Secrest & Emery LLP, a full-service business law firm with offices throughout New York, announced that Caitlin Forsyth Kireker an associate in the firm’s Litigation practice, has been appointed to serve on the Memorial Art Gallery of the University of Rochester (“MAG”) board of directors.
Founded in 1913, The Memorial Art Gallery showcases visual art from antiquity to the present day, including an outdoor public Centennial Sculpture Park. Given in trust to the University of Rochester, MAG is one of the few university-affiliated art museums in the country that also serves as a public art museum. In addition to its permanent collection, MAG offers a year-round schedule of special exhibitions, lectures, concerts, tours, after-hours social events, and family activities.
As a member of the firm’s Litigation practice, Kireker represents clients in all stages of state and federal litigation at the trial and appellate levels. She has been involved in business and commercial litigation, labor and employment litigation, securities litigation, and intellectual property litigation. She also has represented corporations and individuals in criminal, civil, and administrative investigations. Prior to joining HSE, Kireker worked in the litigation department at Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP in New York City. She received a J.D. from New York University School of Law, and a B.A. with distinction from Vassar College.
