Harter Secrest & Emery LLP, a full-service business law firm with offices throughout New York, announced that Christina M. Deats, counsel in the firm’s Litigation practice, has been appointed to serve on the American Heart Association Rochester Chapter Board of Directors.

Deats represents companies and individuals in all phases of litigation, from pretrial matters through trial and appeal, in New York state and federal courts and before arbitration tribunals. She has extensive experience leading litigation matters and efficiently resolving complex disputes in a broad range of specialties, including health care, building and construction, and tort/premises liability defense.
Deats received her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University at Buffalo School of Law and her B.A. from Cornell University.
