Altieri, a partner in the firm’s Litigation practice and Privacy and Data Security team, has been appointed to serve on the Board of Directors of the University at Buffalo’s Law Alumni Association (UBLAA).
For more than 100 years, the Law Alumni Association (LAA) has served the alumni/ae and law students of the University at Buffalo with events and programs, social and educational opportunities, and a network of connections, throughout the country and internationally.
As a member of the Privacy and Data Security team, Altieri works closely with clients in education, healthcare, retail, automotive, manufacturing, and other industries on issues relating to incident preparation and post-incident response, regulatory compliance, risk assessments, and more. As a litigator, Altieri advises clients on all aspects of commercial litigation from pretrial matters through trial and appeal. He has successfully tried complex cases to verdict and argued before the Supreme Court of the State of New York Appellate Division. Altieri was selected by his peers for inclusion in 2021 and 2022 Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America for Commercial Litigation and Litigation-Banking and Finance and was included in the Upstate New York Super Lawyers Rising Stars list from 2017-2020. Altieri received his B.S. degree in Biology, cum laude, from Niagara University and his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University at Buffalo Law School.
