Gregory J. Coughlin to Lead Corporate Practice Group at Harter Secrest & Emery

Harter Secrest & Emery LLP announces that partner Gregory J. Coughlin has been named the practice group leader for the firm’s Corporate and Transactional practice group.

Coughlin represents companies in various merger, acquisition, joint venture, securities and private equity transactions, and in general corporate licensing and commercial contracting matters. He works with clients on, and takes a leadership role in, all aspects of transactions, including preparation of submissions to requests for proposals, preparation of letters of intent or term sheets, coordination of legal due diligence, and negotiation and preparation of definitive transactional agreements. Over the past few years, Coughlin has been involved in transactions with an aggregate value of nearly $2 Billion
