Rochester, New York, June 3, 2024 – Harter Secrest & Emery LLP, a full-service business law firm with offices throughout New York, is pleased to welcome seven law students as summer associates in its Buffalo and Rochester, New York offices. This class is made up of first- and second-year law students and includes two Harter Secrest & Emery Scholarship recipients. The scholarships, which have been awarded annually to outstanding law students since 2005, include a $7,500 award for tuition and a paid summer associate position.
The Harter Secrest & Emery Summer Associate Program is an 8-week, in-person program that runs from June 3 to July 26, 2024. Law students are provided an exceptional experience and a realistic view of what it is like to work at HSE. “Through our immersive experience element of the program, our summer associates have an opportunity to gain hands-on experience while shadowing senior associates and partners in their daily tasks, in addition to receiving assignments related to real cases, matters and clients,” noted Edward H.
