Harter Secrest & Emery Adds Associates McCarthy and Tierney to the Firm

The law firm of Harter Secrest & Emery LLP is pleased to announce that Anna S. M. McCarthy and Thomas H. Tierney have been admitted to the New York State Bar, and are now associate attorneys at Harter Secrest & Emery LLP.

Anna S. M. McCarthy has joined the firm’s Litigation practice group as an associate attorney in the Buffalo office.  Her practice focuses in the areas of business and commercial litigation and labor and employment. Ms. McCarthy received her J.D., cum laude, from the SUNY Buffalo Law School, and received her B.A. in Spanish from Wellesley College. Anna resides in Buffalo, NY.

Thomas H. Tierney has joined the firm’s Corporate practice group as an associate attorney in the Buffalo office.  His practice focuses on general business and corporate law matters, specifically mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and commercial financing.  Tom serves his clients by drafting, reviewing, and advising clients on a wide range of business transactions. Mr. Tierney received his J.D., summa cum laude, from Albany Law School, and his B.S. in Finance, cum laude, from Siena College. Tom resides in Buffalo, NY.
