Harter Secrest & Emery Names Six New Associates

Harter Secrest & Emery LLP, a full-service business law firm with offices throughout New York, is pleased to announce six law clerks have been promoted to associate: Jason W. Delmont, Clayton S.B. Dubin, Niyobuhungiro Godfroid, Andrew J. Latona, Yomaris Sanchez-Orona and Kathryn M. Stiffler.

Delmont (Buffalo, NY) is in the Securities and Capital Markets practice group.  While in law school, Delmont was a judicial intern for Honorable Emilio Colaiacovo of the New York State Supreme Court.   He earned a B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh, summa cum laude, and a J.D. from the University at Buffalo School of Law.

Dubin (Rochester, NY) is in the Securities and Capital Markets practice group. While in law school, he was a judicial intern for the Honorable Suzanne Adams of the New York State Supreme Court and served as a legal intern for the Penn State Law Entrepreneur Assistance Clinic | Research Assistant for Penn State Law Montague Law Library Legal Research Services. He earned a B.A. from Cornell University and a J.D. from The Pennsylvania State University, Penn State Law. 

Godfroid (Rochester, NY) is in the Real Estate and the Environmental, Land Use and Zoning practice groups. While in law school, Godfroid was an Article Editor for the Buffalo Law Review and an Associate for the Buffalo Human Rights Law Review.  He earned a B.A. from Boston College and a J.D. from the University at Buffalo School of Law.

Latona (Buffalo, NY) is in the Corporate practice group.  While in law school, Latona was a fellow and student attorney for the UB Entrepreneurship Law Center Clinic.  He earned a B.A., summa cum laude, and M.B.A from the University at Buffalo and J.D. from the University at Buffalo School of Law.

Sanchez-Orona (Buffalo, NY) is in the Labor and Employment practice group.  While in law school, Sanchez-Orona was a legal extern at the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement-OPLA. She earned a B.A. from Roberts Wesleyan College, summa cum laude, and a J.D. from the University at Buffalo School of Law.

Stiffler (Rochester, NY) is in the Health Care, Higher Education and Nonprofit Organizations practice groups. Prior to joining the firm, she was the deputy Title IX coordinator at Hobart and William Smith Colleges. While in law school, Stiffler was a Legal Intern at the Villanova Law School Civil Justice Clinic and Monroe County Conflict Defender Office and Law Department. She earned a B.A. from the College of William & Mary, a M.S. from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a J.D. from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, cum laude.
