Paige-Elizabeth Avery is an associate in the Litigation practice group. Located in the Buffalo office, Avery focuses her practice on commercial and intellectual property litigation matters as well as the representation of insurers in complex coverage litigation. She assists attorneys by performing due diligence reviews, preparing legal documents, and conducting legal research and analysis. While in law school, Avery was a student caseworker in the Advanced Administrative Litigation Clinic in Lexington, VA. She earned her B.A., summa cum laude, from SUNY Geneseo and her J.D., magna cum laude, from Washington and Lee University School of Law.
Paige N. Monachino is an associate in the Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation practice group in the Rochester office. Monachino provides advice on compensation and benefit arrangements, including qualified retirement plans, health and welfare plans and incentive compensation programs. While in law school, she was a judicial intern for the Honorable Marian Payson, United States District Court, Western District of New York and an intern in the New York State Supreme Court and the Supreme Court of the United States. Monachino earned her B.S., summa cum laude, from SUNY Brockport and her J.D., summa cum laude, from Albany Law School.
Mark R. Satta has joined the firm as an associate in the Immigration practice group in the Rochester office. He assists in the preparation of employment and family-based petitions, conducts research and prepares documents to help obtain work visas and permanent residence status for clients. While in law school, Satta served as a member of the Board of Student Advisers and as a Student Fellow at the Petrie-Flom Center for Health Law Policy and Bioethics in Cambridge, MA. Satta earned a B. A., summa cum laude, from Houghton College, a B.A. from SUNY Brockport, a Ph.D. from Purdue University, and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
Ryan A. Whelpley is an associate in the Securities and Capital Markets practice group Rochester office where he conducts due diligence, legal research and analysis; prepares and reviews securities law filings; and drafts contracts and other agreements. While in law school, he was a judicial intern in the United States District Court, Northern District of New York for Hon. Mae A. D’Agostino. Whelpley earned his B.A., summa cum laude, from Union College and his J.D., summa cum laude, from Albany Law School.
