Rochester, New York, October 14, 2024 – Harter Secrest & Emery LLP, a full-service business law firm with offices throughout New York, is pleased to announce that Katherine E. Rahmlow has joined the firm as an associate in the Commercial and Intellectual Property Litigation practice group.
Bringing a wealth of unique skills and experiences to our litigation team, Katherine E. Rahmlow, a former intelligence analyst in Washington, DC, has joined us as an associate. Her professional journey, which includes earning an Executive Master’s of Public Administration from Syracuse University and an M.A. in Security Studies from Georgetown University, is a testament to her dedication and expertise.
While at Syracuse University, Katherine’s research interests included emerging technologies and cybersecurity, which, along with her strong sense of public service, guided her decision to expand her education by earning her J.D. from Cornell Law School. Before joining Harter Secrest & Emery, Katherine clerked for the Honorable Elizabeth Wolford at the U.S. District Court and was a Summer Associate at Perkins Coie LLP in NYC.
Rahmlow will complement the Harter Secrest & Emery litigation practice consisting of nearly 40 attorneys (partners, counsel, and associates) between the firm’s Buffalo and Rochester offices, who counsel clients on a wide range of litigation-related matters, including insurance coverage, general business/commercial disputes, employment claims, intellectual property infringement, securities, and construction project disputes, to name only a few.
