Harter Secrest & Emery announced that three attorneys have begun practice in the firm’s Buffalo office. Alexandra Lugo, Timothy Menasco, and Jessica Myers are all associates with the firm.
Lugo is a member of the firm’s Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation practice group. She concentrates her practice on issues relating to pension and welfare benefit plan compliance and administration, including governance issues and implementing health care reform. She is a graduate of SUNY Fredonia and the University at Buffalo Law School. Menasco, a member of Harter Secrest & Emery’s Intellectual Property practice group, focuses on matters relating to patent preparation and prosecution, and counsels clients regarding U.S. and foreign patent protection. He is a graduate of the University at Buffalo and the University at Buffalo Law School, and is admitted to practice law in New York, Connecticut and the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Myers concentrates her practice in the areas of construction law, contractor licensing and regulation, mechanics liens, surety and bond law, construction claims and complex commercial litigation. Prior to joining Harter Secrest & Emery, she practiced commercial litigation in Arizona and California and is licensed to practice law in both states, as well as in New York. Myers graduated from the University of Rochester and Cornell Law School.
