Harter Secrest & Emery Welcomes Two Attorneys to Its Corporate Practice

Harter Secrest & Emery LLP, a full-service business law firm with offices throughout New York, announced that two attorneys, Claire A.L. Fallone, counsel, and Matthew A. Eldred, an associate, have joined the firm’s Corporate practice group and Rochester office. 

Fallone has practiced nationally and internationally with particular expertise providing legal counsel in the fashion, lifestyle and entertainment industry. She has negotiated and advised clients on licensing and distribution, marketing and communications, e-commerce and other service agreements, advised clients on a wide variety of intellectual property and information technology matters, and negotiated with major fashion brands and publishers in the U.S., Europe and Asia.

Most recently in private practice, Fallone previously served as senior director, legal at Tommy Hilfiger U.S.A., Inc., and practiced at Mayer Brown in New York and at Allen & Overy in London and Milan. She graduated from the University of Durham in Durham, England before receiving her postgraduate diploma in legal practice from the University of Law in Guildford, England.

Eldred assists regional and national businesses and investors with matters ranging from mergers and acquisitions, business entity formation and organization, restructuring, and reorganizations. He represents business entities in negotiating contract terms and preparation of standard and unique agreements including personal guaranties, leases, license agreements and assignments, necessary in addressing daily operational challenges.

Most recently an associate at Harris Beach, PLLC, Eldred graduated from SUNY Alfred and earned his law degree from the University of Buffalo Law School.
