Leslie Mauro, a partner and leader of Harter Secrest & Emery’s Environmental, Land Use and Zoning practice group, has been elected to serve on the board of Three Rivers Development in Corning, NY.
Three Rivers Development Corporation is the Corning area’s primary private-sector vehicle for economic development. Its mission is to maintain and promote the economic viability of Southeast Steuben County through Board and staff service to the public and private sectors in the fields of planning, housing, commercial and industrial development, and community renewal. According to Three Rivers Development, “We elect people to the Board with skillsets that help the corporation develop plans and projects that sustain our Corning community. Leslie Mauro is a great addition to the Board. She represents HSE and is committed to helping the Corning area continue its plans for a sustainable future.”
With a reputation for skillful advocacy on behalf of her clients, Leslie Mauro has extensive experience representing municipalities and private-sector clients in zoning and land use matters and defending multi-party cost recovery litigation and governmental enforcement actions under federal and state environmental laws. She is the partner-in-charge of Harter Secrest & Emery’s Corning office.
Ms. Mauro resides in Canandaigua, N.Y. and is a graduate of Fordham University School of Law.
