Rochester, New York, May 8, 2025– Harter Secrest & Emery LLP, a full-service business law firm with offices throughout New York, is pleased to announce that Malaz K. Moustafa has joined the firm’s Rochester office as Counsel in the Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation practice group.
Moustafa advises start-up, emerging growth and public companies regarding executive compensation, equity compensation, and employee benefits matters in connection with both day-to-day management and corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and IPOs.
Moustafa also counsels clients on the design, implementation, tax considerations and operations of tax qualified retirement and health and welfare plans.
He earned a LL.M. in Taxation with a Certificate in Employee Benefits and a J.D., cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center, and a B.A. from Lyon College.
