Tony joined HSE in 1996 as the fourth attorney in the firm’s Buffalo office, within a year of opening its doors. During his 20-plus years at HSE, Tony was a tireless lawyer with a client service ethic second to none. As a corporate lawyer, he advised clients of all sizes and in many different industries on the full range of corporate and not-for-profit legal matters. His unwavering commitment to excellence was noticed by his colleagues, clients and the industry – Tony was a four-time Best Lawyers “Lawyer of the Year” in Buffalo for M&A, banking and finance and corporate law.

“Tony set the standard for top-tier work product and client service, as well as for selfless community and professional contributions, always with an eye on paying it forward for the next generation of lawyers,” said Buffalo Office Partner-in-Charge John G. Horn. Tony’s community service included leadership roles with the Bar Association of Erie County, Western New York Venture Association, Food Bank of Western New York, Volunteer Lawyers Project, Canisius College Women’s Business Center, and most recently, the New York State Attorney-Client Fee Dispute Resolution Program.

Tony leaves a legacy of exceptional client service at HSE, and he will be greatly missed by his partners and colleagues.
