Jodi Reynolds Appointed to Rochester Area Interfaith Hospitality Network Board of Directors

Reynolds Jodi 2011 061 HSE 2 ports 112WebReadyHarter Secrest & Emery LLP, a full-service business law firm with offices throughout New York, is pleased to announce that Jodi Reynolds, a senior associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property practice group, has been appointed to the Rochester Area Interfaith Hospitality Network (RAIHN) board of directors.

RAIHN is a not-for-profit, interfaith, culturally-competent organization that assists homeless families achieve sustainable independence by supporting them with tailored services, including shelter, food, personalized case management, and a diverse network of caring volunteers. The organization currently partners with 43 faith communities as host and support congregations, with many others providing moral and financial support.

Reynolds will serve a three-year term helping oversee the RAIHN policies and finances, as well as participating in strategic planning.  Reynolds is currently serving as a RAIHN volunteer through her own congregation.

As an Intellectual Property attorney, Reynolds helps clients attain, protect, and monetize patents, trademarks, and copyrights. She regularly counsels clients through the patent prosecution process, drafting patentability, infringement, and invalidity opinions, and also guides clients through the registration process with regard to trademarks and copyrights. Reynolds drafts and negotiates contracts involving intellectual property issues, and counsels Internet Service Providers and other companies with respect to e-commerce, including copyright infringement, privacy and security issues. A graduate of the University of Rochester, Reynolds earned her law degree, cum laude, from the University at Buffalo Law School.
