Kristian D. Walker Appointed to Foodlink, Inc. Board of Directors

Rochester, New York, Nov 28, 2023 – Harter Secrest & Emery LLP, a full-service business law firm with offices throughout New York, announced that Kristian D. Walker, an associate in the firm’s Healthcare practice, has been appointed to serve on the Board of Directors of Foodlink, Inc.

Foodlink, Inc. is a Rochester-based nonprofit dedicated to ending hunger and building healthier communities by addressing both the symptoms and root causes of food insecurity. It serves as the hub of the emergency food system across a 10-county service area. As a leading public health organization, Foodlink provides food assistance through the safe storage and distribution of emergency food to a network of food bank members and community partners.

In her practice, Kristian provides counsel to health care providers, hospitals, physician practices, nursing homes, and other health care facilities on operational and governance matters, including professional licensure and misconduct issues, patient-related issues, medical staff issues, and psychiatric commitment issues. Kristian also assists health care entities with regulatory and compliance matters concerning corporate compliance, HIPAA, fraud and abuse, and the implementation of internal compliance programs.

Kristian received a J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law, cum laude, an M.S. from Syracuse University, and a B.S. from Cornell University.
