Forty Under 40 recognizes Rochester’s leaders, under the age of 40, who have achieved professional success and made significant civic contributions to the community. An outside panel of judges, including previous winners and business leaders, look for candidates who excel both professionally, who are actively involved in giving back to the community, and committed to inspiring change.

Bahl, an associate in the firm’s Securities and Capital Markets practice, advises publicly held and private companies in federal and state securities law compliance, stock exchange listing requirements, and corporate governance matters. He also conducts due diligence for securities offerings, completes legal research, and drafts offering materials, contracts, and other agreements. Bahl is active in the American Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, and the Monroe County Bar Association (MCBA), serving on several committees, including the MCBA’s Executive Committee and the Board of Trustees. He is on the Town of Webster Parks, Recreation, Open Space and Athletic Review Committee and a member of Make-A-Wish Foundation Western New York, Rochester New Leadership Council. Bahl is also a member of the firm’s Pro Bono and Diversity Committees. Bahl earned his B.A. from Suffolk University, M.B.A. from the University of Massachusetts, Isenberg School of Management, M.S. from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, and his J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law.

Clemente, a senior associate in the firm’s Commercial and Intellectual Property Litigation practice, has a special focus on intellectual property disputes. Her practice includes prosecuting and defending companies on a wide range of claims relating to patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. She also assists clients in all stages of trademark and copyright protection. Clemente’s experience also includes all aspects of state and federal commercial litigation at the trial and appellate levels, including matters relating to breach of contract, non-disclosure agreements, non-compete agreements, and unfair competition. Clemente is a Co-Chair for the Campaign for Justice, a former Chair of the Monroe County Bar Association Young Lawyers Section and is a Founding Member and Executive Team Member of the Associate Board for The Center for Youth Services. Clemente is a member of the firm’s Hiring Committee and is a representative on the firm’s Associates’ Committee. Clemente also serves as the Liaison to the law Firm Anti-Racism Alliance. She earned her B.A., cum laude, from SUNY Geneseo, and her J.D., summa cum laude, from Albany Law School.
