Kelly L. Odorisi Joins Harter Secrest & Emery

Rochester, New York, May 31, 2024 – Harter Secrest & Emery LLP, a full-service business law firm with offices throughout New York, is pleased to announce that Kelly L. Odorisi has joined the firm as partner in the Trusts and Estates practice group and the firm’s Rochester, New York office.

Odorisi brings nearly 30 years of experience counseling individuals, families and fiduciaries on a broad spectrum of matters, including elder law, estate planning, trust administration, and estate litigation. She represents executors, administrators, and trustees at all stages of trust and estate administration and assists clients with estate and long-term care planning. Her legal counsel is enriched by her experience as a certified life coach. In addition to her legal guidance, Odorisi advises clients on essential coping and communication skills to help them navigate often challenging interpersonal dynamics.

She is a member, former president and board member of the Estate Planning Council of Rochester, has been recognized by Super Lawyers, is the recipient of the “Forty under 40” Award by the Rochester Business Journal, and has been named to The Daily Record’s Power 20 List for Trusts and Estates.

Prior to joining Harter Secrest & Emery, Odorisi practiced in Rochester, New York with Trevett Cristo P.C., Underberg & Kessler LLP, where she served as the Trusts & Estate practice group leader, and Kenney Shelton Liptak Nowak LLP. She served a federal judicial internship for the Honorable Blanche M. Manning, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Odorisi began her professional career as the Director of Public Information at University of Illinois Chicago School of Law (f/k/a The John Marshall Law School). She earned a J.D. from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, and a B.S. from Ball State University.
