Dorothy joined Harter Secrest & Emery in 2007. She assists in the preparation of employment-based petitions for temporary and permanent visas. She conducts research and prepares documents for filing with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Department of Labor, and the U.S. Department of State. In addition, she has extensive contact with clients to obtain necessary documentation and to assist with immigration processing procedures.
Her experience prior to joining the firm includes assisting in civil and criminal litigation and estate planning. Before pursuing a career as a paralegal, Dorothy spent five years in England, working in human resources.
