As a member of the firm’s Immigration practice group, Elizabeth “Liz” works with employer and individuals to secure and maintain nonimmigrant work visas such as the H-1B, O-1, L-1, and J-1 categories, as well as employment-based green card processes including Labor Certifications and National Interest Waivers, and EB-1 categories. She works with clients and employees to ensure timely and effective work authorization, and compliance with the ever-changing legal landscape. She also advises employers on immigration compliance including I-9 issues, and helps employers navigate preparing for federal immigration enforcement events.
Prior to joining HSE, Liz was an Immigration Specialist for Ford Motor Company where she would liaise with outside counsel, HR, Payroll, Managers, and Employees to coordinate efforts and ensure compliance.
Liz began her legal career as a Senior Paralegal with Allen & Hodgman, niche immigration firm with offices in both the United States and Canada.
