With nearly 20 years of experience, Jodi takes a very thoughtful approach to addressing her client’s intellectual property opportunities and challenges by analyzing the immediate needs in the context of the bigger picture. Jodi develops strategies to protect her client’s ideas and inventions by utilizing patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret protections. She also advises on IP licensing in a variety of sectors including mechanical, chemical, software, medical devices, optics, and pharmaceuticals.

When patent, trademark or copyright enforcement issues arise or analysis is required to support litigation, Jodi counsels clients and colleagues across a broad range of technologies and industries.

IP Agreements

Jodi has significant experience drafting and negotiating patent, trademark, copyright, and technology licenses, joint venture agreements, sponsored research agreements, publishing agreements, cloud-computing agreements such as software as a service (SaaS) agreements, and other software-related agreements; and counseling companies with respect to e-commerce, including drafting website terms and conditions, privacy policies, and website development agreements.
