Jodi is an intellectual property attorney with over ten years of experience helping her clients attain, protect and monetize patents, trademarks and copyrights. She regularly counsels clients through the patent prosecution process, as well as drafts patentability, non-infringement, and invalidity opinions. Jodi also guides clients through the registration process with regard to trademarks and copyrights.

Additionally, Jodi drafts and negotiates contracts involving intellectual property issues such as sponsored research agreements, confidentiality agreements, and patent, trademark, know-how and software license agreements in a variety of industries. She also counsels Internet Service Providers and other companies with respect to e-commerce, including copyright infringement, privacy, and security issues. As a compliment to her experience with ISP’s and e-commerce, she drafts website terms and conditions, privacy policies, linking agreements, and website development agreements.

Jodi regularly works with engineers, marketers, and business professionals in a variety of fields including mechanical, chemical, software, pharmaceuticals, and food science.
