Kristin’s practice is focused on advising clients in connection with all facets of commercial real estate transactions. Her experience includes performing real estate due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements for real property, negotiating commercial leases for landlords and tenants, and obtaining attorney general and supreme court approval for transfers of real property by not-for-profit and religious corporations.
Before joining Harter Secrest & Emery, Kristin was an Associate at Harris Beach PLLC where she advised clients on a broad range of complex business and commercial issues, including disputes and litigation concerning contracts, commercial leases, restrictive covenants, Article 78 challenges, insurance indemnification, and breaches of representations and warranties.
Kristin was also an extern at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York where she conducted extensive legal research related to a wide range of civil and criminal cases.
