Mackenzie focuses her practice on Trusts and Estates matters. She helps clients create comprehensive strategies to transfer wealth in an organized and thoughtful way, protect assets from the costs of long-term care, provide for decision-making in the event of disability through powers of attorney and health care proxies, and assists with the preparation of MOLSTs. Mackenzie prides herself on educating her clients thoroughly about their various planning options to guarantee they are comfortable and informed while making these important life decisions. Mackenzie often works with her clients’ financial advisors and other trusted experts to ensure a well-rounded and inclusive plan is in place to execute her clients’ wishes.

Mackenzie also guides families through the stages of administering an estate or trust with the utmost degree of empathy and compassion.

Mackenzie’s experience includes creating estate plans for a diverse range of individuals and business owners, amending existing estate plans to address both changes in the law and client goals, counseling clients regarding various estate planning and long-term care planning options and techniques, and representing clients in Surrogate’s Court proceedings.
