Rochester, New York, June 6, 2025– Harter Secrest & Emery LLP, a full-service business law firm with offices throughout New York, is pleased to welcome six law students as summer associates in its Buffalo and Rochester, New York offices. This class is made up of first and second-year law students and includes one Harter Secrest & Emery Scholarship recipient. The scholarship, which has been awarded annually to outstanding law students since 2005, includes a $7,500 award for tuition and a paid summer associate position.
The Harter Secrest & Emery Summer Associate Program is an 8-week, in-person program that runs from June 2 to July 25, 2025. Law students are provided an exceptional experience and a realistic view of what it is like to work at HSE. “From day one, our summer associates are immersed in meaningful legal work across diverse practice areas, gaining real responsibility on client matters and learning directly from experienced attorneys,” said Edward H. Townsend, Harter Secrest & Emery’s Hiring Partner. “Through hands-on assignments, shadowing opportunities, and structured feedback, we ensure that each associate develops the skills and confidence needed to thrive in their legal career.”
