Craig has practiced business law since 1975, and has extensive experience both with for-profit and non-profit corporations and other business entities.
- Health Care: Craig has been involved in health care law since 1984. His health care practice involves matters relating to the ownership and operation of health care provider practices and entities, and collective activity by providers (e.g., independent practice associations), including application of the antitrust laws and managed care risk contracting. He also serves as corporate counsel to hospitals and other healthcare facilities such as ambulatory surgery centers. That work involves operational and governance matters, and HIPAA and other compliance issues.
- Non-Profit: Craig has been involved in the formation of New York not-for-profit corporations, which includes federal and state applications for tax-exempt status. He has provided general counsel to not-for-profit corporations, and has served as a member of the board of directors of some of those corporations.
- For-Profit: Craig has represented small closely held companies in various segments of the business market. This work has involved numerous areas of practice including, municipal law, financing transactions, tax, real estate, employment law, business purchase and sales, and contract preparation and analysis.
