Outside Corporate Counsel

With past roles as the general counsel for Aleron Group and the deputy general counsel for Computer Task Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: CTG), Mark brings a wealth of experience navigating diverse legal challenges to both public and private enterprises. Mark provides timely, practical, strategic, and value-added advice on issues and opportunities faced by companies including:

  • Organizing and managing corporate legal departments
  • Optimizing organizational compliance efforts (including SEC filings and matters)
  • Litigation and dispute resolution oversight
  • Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
  • Facilitating corporate formations and transactions (mergers, acquisitions and strategic partnerships)
  • Optimizing the effectiveness of enterprise risk management functions
  • Handling various Human Resources and employment matters
  • Counseling on intellectual property, corporate governance and privacy and security matters

Mark is a certified Privacy Professional (CIPP/US and CIPM) with over 20 years of experience establishing and expanding the sophistication of organizations’ privacy and security offices. Having served for many years as chief privacy officer and legal counsel to international privacy offices, Mark collaborates closely with clients on state, federal and international compliance objectives – helping clients identify and implement cost-effective solutions to promote global compliance and safeguard the organization from privacy breaches. Mark also provides experienced counsel, through resolution, when security incidents do arise.
